Methodology
A claim earns its place.
Glamdring records the source, date, limit and decision attached to each material claim.
Research questions
Each brief starts with one software buying decision. The question defines the compared products, audience, date and market.
Source order
- Official product, pricing, security and policy pages.
- Regulator, standards-body and government sources.
- Direct company filings and release notes.
- Independent research and credible specialist publications.
- Community evidence used as experience evidence, with clear limits.
Vendor-owned evidence
Vendor pages establish what a vendor currently claims or lists. They do not prove comparative superiority. Every article labels the source class through its source notes.
Pricing
Pricing changes quickly. Glamdring records the checked date and separates public list prices from quotes, implementation, services and renewal terms.
Verdicts
A verdict names the buyer condition that favors each option. It does not award one universal winner when the products solve different operating problems.
Commercial relationships
Sponsored work, paid placements, affiliate relationships and vendor access must appear on the article. The launch edition contains no paid placement or affiliate link.
Corrections
Readers can report an error through the corrections page. Material fixes update the revision date and correction note.
