Secureframe pricing: plans and listed price, Sep 2026
Secureframe lists one price: Fundamentals starts at $7,000 a year, checked 28 September 2026. Complete and Defense are quote-only. Vendr reports a $20,000 median contract, so treat $7,000 as a floor and budget separately for the external audit.

Secureframe lists one price. Its Fundamentals plan starts at $7,000 a year on the US English pricing page, checked 28 September 2026.1 The Complete and Defense plans show no price and send buyers to a quote form.1 Treat $7,000 as a floor. Vendr reports a median of $20,000 a year across the Secureframe contracts in its dataset.2
TL;DR
- Secureframe publishes three plans: Fundamentals, Complete and Defense. Each plan builds on the one before it.1
- Only Fundamentals carries a figure, and that figure is a starting price. Complete and Defense are quote-only.1
- Fundamentals and Complete each list one compliance framework in the page’s comparison grid. The price of a second framework is left to the quote.1
- Complete mainly adds depth: advanced risk, vendor-risk, access-review and questionnaire tools, plus SSO, SCIM and custom integrations. Defense adds CMMC tooling and managed CUI environments.1
- The external audit sits outside the subscription. Vendr puts third-party audit fees at $10,000 to $30,000+ per framework.2
What plans does Secureframe publish?
Secureframe’s pricing page, titled “Secureframe packages”, lists three plans: Fundamentals, Complete and Defense.1 Fundamentals is the entry plan and the only one with a price. Complete includes everything in Fundamentals. Defense includes everything in Complete.1 Every plan carries the same “Get a quote” button.1 Our compliance automation coverage tracks the other systems in this category.
| Plan | Secureframe’s description | Listed price | Builds on | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fundamentals | Get compliant fast | Starting at $7,000/year | None | Monitoring, evidence collection, policies, personnel, risk and a Trust Center |
| Complete | Scale your compliance program and grow your business | None listed; quote | Fundamentals | Advanced risk, vendor-risk, access-review, Trust Center and questionnaire tools; SSO and SCIM; custom integrations |
| Defense | Simplify SSP, POA&M, and other CMMC compliance requirements | None listed; quote | Complete | SPRS tracking, SSP and POA&M work, and managed CUI environments |
Plan names, descriptions and the price are Secureframe’s own statements, checked 28 September 2026.1
What does the Fundamentals plan include?
Fundamentals lists seven feature groups: Infrastructure Monitoring; Custom Frameworks, Controls, and Tests; Evidence Collection; Personnel Management; Risk Management; Policy Management; and Trust Center.1 It is the only Secureframe plan with a published price, starting at $7,000 a year.1
The comparison grid shows where Fundamentals stops. It allows one custom automated test and one automated asset-scoping rule. Complete allows unlimited numbers of each.1 Both plans list one compliance framework, 300+ native integrations, automated evidence collection and continuous control monitoring.1
The grid ticks a long list of shared items for both plans. These include personnel onboarding and offboarding, policy acceptance tracking, pre-built policy templates, security awareness training and asset inventory management.1 It also ticks Comply AI for policies and remediation, the Secureframe Agent and access to the Secureframe Audit Partner Network.1
The one-test and one-rule limits matter more than the feature list. A team that needs its own controls tested across several asset types will reach them early. The decision changes at that point, because the next step is a quote.
What does the Complete plan add?
Complete includes everything in Fundamentals plus eight named additions.1 These are Advanced Third-Party Risk Management, Advanced Risk Management, Advanced User Access Reviews, Advanced Trust Center, Advanced Questionnaire Automation, SSO & SCIM Connections, Custom Integrations and Additional Workspaces.1 Secureframe marks Additional Workspaces as an add-on.1 Complete has no listed price.
Most of the additions deepen modules that Fundamentals already has. Risk management, the Trust Center and access control appear in both plans, and Complete adds the advanced version. The grid’s clearest numeric gap sits in automation limits. Custom automated tests and asset-scoping rules move from one to unlimited.1
The framework count stays the same. The grid lists one compliance framework for Complete, as it does for Fundamentals.1 An information icon sits beside each figure, but its text isn’t part of the page copy. A buyer who needs SOC 2 and ISO 27001 together should ask how the second framework is priced.
What does the Defense plan add?
Defense is Secureframe’s plan for CMMC compliance, and it includes everything in Complete.1 The seven additions are SPRS Score Tracker, System Security Plan (SSP), Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M), Automate SSP Implementation Statuses, Managed CUI Enclave, Managed Virtual Desktops and Manage CUI Vendors.1 Defense has no listed price.
Three of those items are managed environments: the CUI enclave, the virtual desktops and CUI vendor management. They describe an operated service as well as software, and the page gives no cost for them. Confirm that cost in the current quote. Secureframe’s site footer also lists a product called Secureframe Defense for CMMC, under a solutions menu that names defense contractors.1
Is Secureframe pricing listed or quote-only?
Secureframe pricing is mostly quote-only. The one exception is a starting price of $7,000 a year for Fundamentals.1 Complete and Defense show no figure. Every plan routes through the same “Get a quote” form.1
We checked the US English page on 28 September 2026 and read the prices as written. Our methodology explains how we date and source prices. The US English page shows the figure with a dollar sign. It states no currency code or tax treatment. It publishes no per-employee rate, no price per extra framework and no multi-year term. The Complete and Defense prices, and the real Fundamentals price for a given company, only appear in a quote.
Secureframe also runs German, Spanish and French pricing pages.1 We did not check whether those pages list the same figure.
Third-party pages disagree on this point. Vendr’s February 2026 guide says Secureframe “does not publish a standard rate card”.2 The checked page publishes a starting figure for one plan. Some other guides in search results quote a $7,500 starting figure, which does not match the $7,000 on Secureframe’s page as checked.
What do Secureframe buyers report paying?
Vendr reports a median Secureframe contract of $20,000 a year.2 That is almost three times the $7,000 Fundamentals starting price. The figure comes from Vendr’s anonymised transaction data. Vendr reports it; we have not measured it. Vendr’s guide was last updated in February 2026.2
Vendr breaks its data down by company size and framework count:
| Company profile (Vendr’s bands) | Reported annual contract value |
|---|---|
| Under 50 employees, single framework | $12,000 to $20,000 |
| 50 to 200 employees, one to two frameworks | $20,000 to $35,000 |
| 200 to 500 employees, multiple frameworks | $35,000 to $55,000 |
| 500+ employees, complex compliance programs | Over $55,000; some reach $80,000 or more |

Vendr names four pricing drivers: framework count, employee headcount, integration count and contract term.2 It reports that two- and three-year terms often cut the annual price by 10 to 20%.2 Vendr promotes its own pricing and negotiation tools throughout the guide.2 Use its bands to test a quote, and keep Secureframe’s own page as the record of what is listed.
What costs sit outside the Secureframe subscription?
The largest outside cost is the audit itself. Vendr notes that Secureframe does not remove the need for third-party auditors, who conduct the formal assessment. It puts their fees at $10,000 to $30,000+ per framework, paid to the audit firm.2 The Fundamentals grid lists access to the Secureframe Audit Partner Network. It does not say that audit fees are included.1
Three other costs can move the total:
- Additional frameworks. Both grid columns list one compliance framework.1 Vendr reports that adding frameworks mid-contract often costs 15 to 25% more than bundling them at the start.2
- Add-ons. Secureframe marks Additional Workspaces as an add-on on the Complete plan.1
- Services. Vendr reports that optional implementation and onboarding services can add $3,000 to $10,000+.2
Vendr also reports renewal increases, usually in the 5 to 10% range.2 Ask for a renewal cap in writing when the first contract is signed.
How to test a Secureframe quote
Test a quote against the checked page first, then against reported contract values. Four checks cover most of the gap between $7,000 and a real contract.
- Confirm which plan the quote covers. Match every feature you need to the Fundamentals, Complete or Defense list.
- Count the frameworks. Ask for the price of each framework beyond the first.
- Separate the subscription from audit fees, services and add-ons. Each needs its own line.
- Ask for the price at your current headcount and at your expected headcount in 12 months.
Then compare the total with Vendr’s band for your company size. A Fundamentals quote near $7,000 matches Secureframe’s listed starting price and sits below Vendr’s reported band for small companies. A quote above Vendr’s band for your size needs a reason in its line items. For the Vanta side of a shortlist, our Laika vs Vanta comparison sets out how those two vendors compare.
What the pricing page cannot tell you
The checked page establishes Secureframe’s own statements: plan names, feature lists and one starting price.1 It does not establish what most buyers pay. The Questionnaires, Trust Center, Risk Management, Third-Party Risk Management, Admin and Security, and Defense sections of the grid sit in collapsed panels.1 We did not review their row-by-row contents.
Two events would change this view: a published price for Complete or Defense, or a new Fundamentals starting figure. Either one would appear on the same page.
