Drata competitors: reported framework counts, October 2026

Sprinto prints 200+ digitized frameworks; Vanta reports 35+ frameworks. These lower-bound claims rank published figures, not actual catalogue sizes or equivalent automation. Optro's mixed frameworks-and-standards count, Secureframe's plan allowance and Delve's named list stay unranked.

Sprinto prints the highest lower-bound framework claim in this comparison of Drata competitors: 200+ digitized frameworks. Vanta reports 35+ frameworks.1,2 These qualified, self-reported figures do not establish actual catalogue sizes or equivalent automation. The sources were captured on 28 September and 2 October 2026. Sprinto’s entry compliance plans each include one selected framework.1

TL;DR

  • Sprinto distinguishes 200+ digitized frameworks from 25+ frameworks automated out of the box.1 Treat those as different published claims.
  • Drata Foundation, Vanta Essentials and Secureframe Fundamentals each publish a one-framework allowance.3,4,5 Catalogue breadth alone won’t establish what your subscription includes.
  • Optro reports 30+ frameworks and standards, a mixed denominator kept outside the framework-only ordering. Secureframe publishes a plan allowance; Delve names frameworks without a total.6,5,7

How this ranking was built

Glamdring Research orders Drata competitors by their printed lower-bound framework claim. Vendor-owned framework, pricing and home pages were captured on 28 September and 2 October 2026. We preserve each claim’s scope and qualifier. The ordering compares published numerical claims, not exact catalogue sizes, tested automation or product quality. See our research methodology.

RankCompetitorReported framework countPublished label or verification limit
1Sprinto200+“frameworks digitized”; separately prints 25+ automated out of the box.1
2Vanta35+“frameworks”; actual catalogue size and automation equivalence are not established.2
UnrankedDelveNo total establishedHomepage lists named frameworks and “+ more”, without a catalogue total.7
UnrankedOptro (formerly AuditBoard)30+ frameworks and standardsMixed frameworks, standards and regulations; excluded from the framework-only ordering.6
UnrankedSecureframeNo total establishedPricing page’s framework figure is a plan allowance, not a catalogue total.5

The sample contains five unique competitors with dated vendor-owned pages. AuditBoard and Optro are one supplier because the checked page identifies Optro as formerly AuditBoard.8 Two competitors have eligible printed claims; three remain unranked. Drata is a baseline, not its own competitor. Unranked rows use alphabetical order.

Named framework links, entry-plan allowances and mixed frameworks-and-standards counts are excluded from the ranked field. The 200+ and 35+ claims are lower bounds, not exact totals: they cannot prove which actual catalogue is larger or a ratio of coverage. Both remain vendor statements, not independent measurements.

Which Drata competitor prints the highest lower-bound claim?

Sprinto prints 200+ digitized frameworks; Vanta’s catalogue page prints 35+ frameworks.1,2 Sprinto separately reports 25+ frameworks automated out of the box.1 The highest printed lower bound is therefore Sprinto’s digitized claim, not proof that it has the largest actual catalogue or more automated frameworks than Vanta.

Sprinto’s page exposes a further distinction between available frameworks and purchased frameworks.1 Under “What counts as a Select Framework?”, it says: “Get any one framework of your choice with either plan.”1 Additional frameworks appear as add-ons.1 A shortlist based on catalogue breadth therefore needs a second check against the quote’s included frameworks.

For Sprinto, ask for the target framework by name, its automation scope and its inclusion in the proposed subscription. Keep those answers separate. A claim about the size of the digitized catalogue cannot answer all three.

How does Drata’s own framework scope compare?

Drata reports 30+ pre-built frameworks, but its Foundation compliance plan includes one pre-mapped framework.9,3 The framework catalogue and the entry subscription describe different scopes.9,3

Foundation is limited to up to 50 FTEs, and its included framework must come from SOC 2, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, HIPAA or GDPR.3 Additional frameworks are add-ons.3 Drata’s Advanced description says “Any Available Framework” while still listing additional frameworks as add-ons.3 The wording does not establish unlimited included frameworks.3

Drata’s 30+ pre-built figure and Sprinto’s 200+ digitized figure retain their original labels.9,1 They support a comparison of printed claims, without proving equivalent automation or a particular ratio of coverage.9,1 For another baseline comparison, read Vanta versus Drata.

What do entry plans include?

Sprinto, Vanta and Secureframe each publish a one-framework allowance for their entry compliance plans.1,4,5 Drata Foundation also includes one framework but restricts the available choices and company size.3 The plan allowance is the more direct starting point for a first-framework purchase.

SupplierEntry compliance planPublished framework allowanceBoundary to confirm
SprintoFoundationOne selected framework; either Foundation or Growth follows the “any one framework” wording.1Additional frameworks are add-ons; digitized and automated catalogue labels differ.1
VantaEssentialsOne compliance framework with an agentic policy generator.4Confirm the chosen framework and the scope of any additional framework in the quote.
SecureframeFundamentals“Compliance Framework” row: 1.5Custom frameworks, controls and tests are listed separately; confirm the named framework allowance.5
DrataFoundationOne pre-mapped framework.3Up to 50 FTEs; limited to SOC 2, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, HIPAA and GDPR.3
DelveEntry allowance unconfirmedNo included-framework allowance established by the checked homepage.7Request the included frameworks in its customized proposal.7
OptroEntry allowance unconfirmedNo included-framework allowance established by the checked homepage.8Obtain a named product package and its framework scope.

For a program that needs SOC 2 and ISO 27001, ask each supplier to put both frameworks in the same quote. Require a clear split between included work and add-ons. This is a procurement test, not an assumption that the entry plans cover both.

Which alternatives remain unranked?

Secureframe, Delve and Optro remain unranked. Secureframe’s number is a subscription allowance, Delve’s named list has no total, and Optro combines frameworks with standards and regulations.5,7,6 These limits do not settle whether a supplier covers your required framework.

Vanta’s 35+ framework claim earns a separate rank, not an entitlement to all frameworks.2 Its Essentials description includes one compliance framework, automated evidence collection, continuous controls monitoring, basic reporting and audit workflows, and a Trust Center.4

Secureframe Fundamentals lists infrastructure monitoring, evidence collection, personnel management, risk management, policy management and a Trust Center.5 Its comparison also lists custom frameworks, controls and tests for Fundamentals and Complete.5 The one-framework allowance remains a separate row.5

Delve’s homepage names SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI-DSS and ISO 42001.7 It describes evidence collection and security workflows using AI agents, and asks buyers to obtain a customized proposal.7 The framework names establish advertised coverage, without specifying an entry-plan entitlement.7

Optro identifies itself as formerly AuditBoard and describes audit, risk, infosec and compliance products.8 Its framework page reports 30+ supported frameworks and standards, and describes a library of frameworks, standards and regulations.6 That mixed scope warrants a package-level comparison with Drata, not a framework-only rank or an assumed equivalent entry plan.

Browse the compliance automation research for related comparisons. Start your own shortlist with the required framework, then verify the included package.

Which competitors publish a price?

Secureframe prints “Starting at $7,000/year” for Fundamentals.5 The checked Drata and Vanta pages request personalized pricing instead of publishing numerical subscription rates.3,4 These are the pages checked 28 September 2026; they establish published terms, not negotiated market prices.5,3,4

Secureframe’s starting figure carries an annual unit and the dollar symbol as printed.5 The captured page does not specify a currency code or tax treatment, so neither is assumed.5 Complete and Defense direct buyers to obtain a quote without a numerical subscription rate in the checked page.5

Sprinto’s checked pricing page describes Foundation and Growth and directs buyers to “Find my plan”, without a numerical subscription price.1 Delve requests a customized proposal.7 Optro’s checked homepage offers a demo without a numerical subscription price.8

A starting figure and an undisclosed quote do not support a cheapest-vendor verdict. Compare quotes for the same named frameworks and service scope, with currency and tax treatment stated. For the baseline vendor’s commercial details, use the Drata pricing analysis.

What the ranking cannot tell you

Printed framework claims cannot establish which compliance system fits your audit program. Sprinto’s digitized and automated labels describe different scopes; Drata uses a pre-built-framework label, and Vanta reports frameworks.1,9,2 None establishes all-framework inclusion in an entry subscription.1,3,4

The comparison leaves actual catalogue totals, automation depth, implementation effort and audit outcomes untested. A higher printed lower bound earns the field-based rank, not a universal recommendation. An unranked supplier may still advertise the framework you need.5,7,6

Before committing, require the supplier to demonstrate the named framework using your evidence sources. Ask it to show what runs automatically, what needs manual work and what changes when a further framework is added. A revised official total or plan allowance is the trigger to recheck the comparison.

Frequently asked questions

Which is better: Drata or Sprinto?

The published framework claims establish different scopes, not an overall winner.1,9 Sprinto prints 200+ digitized frameworks and 25+ automated out of the box; Drata prints 30+ pre-built frameworks.1,9 For a first-framework purchase, Sprinto’s “any one framework” wording permits a broader stated choice than Drata Foundation’s restricted list.1,3 Confirm the target framework and its automation scope before treating that difference as decisive.

Does an unranked platform support no frameworks?

No. Unranked means the checked claim does not fit this framework-only field. Secureframe publishes an included-framework allowance; Delve names supported frameworks; Optro reports a mixed frameworks-and-standards total.5,7,6 None is treated as zero coverage. Vanta’s 35+ framework claim is ranked separately.2

Does Secureframe Complete include more frameworks than Fundamentals?

Secureframe’s checked pricing comparison prints 1 in the “Compliance Framework” row for both Fundamentals and Complete.5 Complete adds other capabilities, including advanced risk and third-party risk management, user access reviews and questionnaire automation.5 The higher tier therefore does not establish a larger included-framework allowance from this published row.5
