Deel reviews: G2, Trustpilot and pricing, September 2026
Consider Deel for international hiring when a country-specific quote and employer workflow demonstration confirm fit. Published ratings remain separate customer-feedback aggregates, not a first-hand performance test.

Deel merits consideration for international hiring, but a buying decision needs a service-specific quote and an employer workflow check.1,2 Its published fees distinguish contractor management from employment services, while G2 and Trustpilot show positive aggregate ratings for different review populations.1,2,3
Evidence checked 28 September 2026. No first-hand use.
TL;DR
- Read the ratings through the reviewer’s role: G2’s displayed filters include far more users than administrators.2 A worker’s payment experience answers a different question from an employer’s payroll administration.2
- Match the coverage claim to the service. Deel publishes separate counts for EOR countries, US PEO states and contractor payment currencies.1
- Read promotional terms separately from the general pricing FAQ. The advertised PEO credit carries a minimum two-year order term, despite the FAQ’s general month-to-month wording.1

What do Deel’s published ratings show?
On 28 September 2026, G2 displayed Deel Payroll at 4.7 out of 5 from 7,003 reviews, while Trustpilot displayed Deel at 4.6 from 9,497 reviews.2,3 Keep the product-level G2 result and company-level Trustpilot result separate when assessing fit.2,3
| Review source | Profile captured | Published rating | Published review count | Checked date |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| G2 | Deel Payroll | 4.7/5 | 7,003 | 28 September 20262 |
| Trustpilot | Deel, deel.com | 4.6/5 | 9,497 | 28 September 20263 |
These are the platforms’ displayed aggregates, not a rating produced by Glamdring Research.2,3 No combined average is calculated.
G2’s role filters showed 5,942 users and 98 administrators.2 Its category filters included Contractor Payments and Global Payroll.2 For an employer choosing EOR or payroll administration, read reviews that describe those responsibilities before relying on the headline rating.
Collection also needs context. Some visible G2 reviews carried both an incentivized label and a seller-invite label.2 Trustpilot stated that Deel invites customers to review and that the profile contains reviews merged from other profiles belonging to the company.3 These labels describe how feedback reaches the page; they don’t establish that a review is false.2,3
The comparison follows our research methodology: retain the checked date and the profile being assessed, then connect the finding to the decision it can support.
How much does Deel publish for each service?
Deel’s published cost depends on whether you need contractor administration, Contractor of Record or Employer of Record (EOR) employment.1 Compare the service and its billing unit before comparing the amount.
| Published service | Displayed price | Billing unit | Scope described by Deel |
|---|---|---|---|
| Find talent | $14 | Per worker per month | Candidate sourcing, screening and onboarding1 |
| Contractor management | $49 | Per contractor per month | Hire, manage and pay global contractors; classify them yourself1 |
| Contractor of Record | $325 | Per contractor of record per month | Shift contractor classification liability to Deel1 |
| US PEO | $125 | Per US PEO employee per month | US co-employment with benefits included1 |
| EOR | $599 | Per EOR employee per month | Hire employees without opening a local entity1 |
Checked 28 September 2026. Prices retain the source’s dollar symbol; the displayed cards do not specify a currency code or tax treatment.1 Confirm both in the quote before making a local-currency comparison.
The contractor rows describe different responsibility arrangements: Deel says customers can classify contractors themselves or shift liability through Contractor of Record.1 Choose the arrangement you need before using either fee as a budget reference.
Deel’s FAQ says the EOR fee covers onboarding, local compliance, payroll processing, tax filings, benefits administration and ongoing HR and legal support.1 Request a total-cost quote that separates the service fee from salary, employer taxes and benefit premiums. Ask for any setup charges, deposits and payment costs to be listed explicitly.
The G2 page also contained vendor-supplied pricing for “Unified payroll in 130+ countries”, starting at $29.00 per employee per month.2 Keep that payroll entry separate from the EOR fee: Deel describes EOR as employment without opening a local entity.1 Our Deel pricing analysis is the related reading for a cost-focused comparison.
Where does Deel say its services are available?
Deel’s pricing page describes EOR employment in 130+ countries, US PEO co-employment across all 50 US states and contractor payments in 120+ currencies.1 A country count describes geographic reach; a currency count describes payment choices.1
| Service | Published coverage | What to confirm for your workforce |
|---|---|---|
| EOR | Full legal employment in 130+ countries1 | Exact country, employing entity, role eligibility and included benefits |
| US PEO | Co-employment across all 50 US states1 | Your employing company’s eligibility, state requirements and benefits terms |
| Contractor payments | Payments in 120+ currencies1 | Worker’s country, receiving bank, withdrawal method and exchange costs |
Deel also lists remote, on-site and field worker arrangements on its employee-hiring card.1 The published service scope therefore extends beyond remote work.1
The G2 capture uses different geographic wording within the same profile: its seller description says payroll runs in 150+ countries, while its vendor-supplied payroll pricing entry says 130+ countries.2 The capture does not explain the difference.2 Treat the figures as statements attached to those sections, and ask Deel to confirm the service available in each intended country.
For a purchase, name the country and employment model in the quote request. Ask which entity employs the worker, which payroll process applies and which responsibilities stay with your company. A broad coverage statement cannot answer those country-specific questions.
What do customer reviews reveal about payments and support?
Deel’s G2 and Trustpilot summaries emphasise ease of use and payments, while also raising payment or support concerns; both summaries are generated with AI from reviews.2,3 Use the themes to select a demonstration, with customer experience kept separate from verified service performance.
G2’s AI summary praises ease of use and fast payments, then says some users want more accessible support.2 Trustpilot’s AI summary praises navigation and onboarding, but describes withdrawal delays, difficulty tracking funds and long chat waits in some reviews.3 Trustpilot explicitly says it does not fact-check reviews or verify their specific claims.3
No incident rate follows from these summaries.2,3 They don’t provide a denominator of all payments, all support requests or all customers who experienced the system.2,3
Ask for a demonstration of the payment route your workers will use. Include a failed withdrawal or missing-payment escalation. Request the exchange-rate basis, any withdrawal fee, expected timing and the support owner. For employer administration, add payroll approval, reimbursements and accounting exports to the demonstration.
What contract limits deserve a closer reading?
Deel’s general FAQ describes month-to-month pricing, but its PEO promotion requires qualifying order forms with a minimum two-year term.1 Check the terms of the specific offer you intend to accept.
The pricing page advertises three months free of PEO.1 Its conditions require a qualifying new order form executed between 15 July and 31 December 2026.1 The credit applies at the end of the initial term.1
The promotional terms also state that early termination triggers payment of full list-price fees for the entire order form, including the promotional credit’s value.1 Assess the promotion against the commitment required, and ask for the credit timing and termination terms in the written quote.
Deel’s FAQ separately says customers can cancel at any time, while warning that EOR employees remain subject to local notice or severance obligations.1 Confirm the employee exit process as well as the commercial cancellation process. The published FAQ is Deel’s description of its service terms, not country-specific legal advice.
What would justify choosing Deel?
Deel belongs on an international-hiring shortlist when its quoted country coverage and responsibility model match the workforce, and an employer demonstration confirms the required administration.1,2 This is a conditional buying judgment based on Deel’s published service descriptions and the review populations.1,2
Use a proposed hire to test the decision. Request the country-specific total cost and identify the employing party. Then follow onboarding through payment and an exception. Record the worker’s steps separately from the employer’s approvals, finance exports and support escalation.
Proceed only when the written terms and demonstrated workflow meet your requirements. If country availability, the employment-cost breakdown or exception ownership remains unclear, keep the purchase open and compare the options in our Deel competitors analysis.

Frequently asked questions
How does Deel pay you?
Deel’s contractor pricing card lists multi-currency payments and payments in 120+ currencies, while its FAQ says it offers multiple payment methods.1 Ask which method supports your bank and currency, what it costs and how long it takes; the published currency count alone does not establish those details.
Can you try Deel before committing?
Deel’s pricing FAQ offers a free demo or a conversation with its team.1 The captured answer does not establish access to a full free trial.1 Confirm what you can test before signing, particularly payroll approvals and finance exports.
Can you cancel an EOR hire at any time?
Deel says customers can cancel at any time, but its FAQ states that local labour laws apply to EOR employees, including any required notice periods or severance obligations.1 Ask Deel to explain the process and costs for the employee’s country before agreeing to the hire.
