Ramp publishes a free plan and Plus at $15 per user per month plus a platform fee based on team size.1 Navan Business offers free travel for companies up to 300 employees; Expense is free for the first five monthly expensing users, then $15 per user per month.2 Both vendors leave Enterprise pricing to a quote.1,2 These published terms were checked 28 September 2026.1,2

TL;DR

  • Treat the accounting integration as a plan decision: Ramp lists QuickBooks Online and Xero under Free, NetSuite and Sage Intacct under Plus, and Workday and Oracle Fusion Cloud under Enterprise.1
  • Travel support changes the comparison: Ramp lists 24/7 chat support under Free and phone support under Plus, while Navan Business includes 24/7 travel support agents.1,2
  • A published seat price won’t settle the full bill.1,2 Ramp’s Plus platform-fee amount is unpublished in the checked pricing page, and Navan directs companies above 300 employees to a sales discussion.1,2

What pricing do Ramp and Navan publish?

Ramp publishes Free, Plus and custom Enterprise pricing; Navan publishes free Business travel, a monthly expense-user rate and quote-based Enterprise pricing.1,2 The limits attached to those prices differ: Ramp Plus adds a team-size platform fee, while Navan Business eligibility depends on company headcount.1,2

What do Ramp’s Free, Plus and Enterprise plans include?

Ramp’s plans combine cards, expenses and travel with wider finance workflows; Plus and Enterprise add automation, integrations and service layers.1 The plan choice therefore depends on the accounting system and controls you need, alongside the user price.1

Free

Ramp Free lists unlimited cards and card-issuing controls.1 Travel booking and receipt matching sit alongside accounts-payable tools: invoice extraction, configurable approvals, fraud checks and bill payments by ACH, card, check or wire.1 Its accounts-receivable features include invoice creation, customer follow-up, cash application and payment acceptance.1

Free also names basic accounting rules, QuickBooks Online and Xero integrations, a custom report builder, vendor tracking, contract extraction and price intelligence.1 This makes Free a candidate for a finance team that needs those published workflows without the paid-tier ERP integrations.1

Plus

Ramp Plus includes Free’s features and adds AI-driven expense reviews, policy insights and automatic card locking when compliance requirements are unmet.1 It also adds line-item coding, batch payments and payment-release approvals for accounts payable.1

For accounting, Plus names NetSuite and Sage Intacct integrations, AI coding, approval and synchronization of routine spend, and multi-entity support.1 Its management features include live report sharing, scheduled exports, budgets against actuals, custom user roles, entity visibility restrictions and an audit log.1

Procurement remains an add-on to Plus or Enterprise, including advanced intake, purchase-order creation and tracking, vendor compliance reviews and three-way matching with Ramp purchase orders.1 Recurring billing and automated revenue-recognition schedules require a separate Accounts Receivable Add-on.1 The checked pricing page does not publish numerical prices for either add-on.1

Enterprise

Ramp Enterprise includes Plus and adds Workday and Oracle Fusion Cloud integrations, locally funded reimbursements, local-currency card payments and local card issuing.1 It also lists dedicated account and customer-success management, priority global support and implementation services covering rollout, integration setup, validation and employee training.1

A required Enterprise integration changes the purchase to a custom annual-billing discussion; the published Plus seat rate cannot price that requirement.1

What do Navan Business and Enterprise include?

Navan Business combines travel management with expense tools for companies up to 300 employees; Enterprise adds program coverage and implementation support.2 Within Business, free travel access and the expense-user allowance are separate terms.2

Business

Navan Business lists global travel inventory and exclusive rates, unlimited policy and approval workflows, self-service booking changes and 24/7 travel support agents.2 It also includes Navan Rewards, customizable reports and HRIS integrations.2

The expense features cover expense management, reimbursements, receipt scanning and connection to existing corporate or business credit cards.2 Navan says Business integrates with most ERPs; its plan card does not name the systems or spell out the depth of each integration.2 Ask for a demonstration using your accounting fields before treating that wording as equivalent to a named integration.

Enterprise

Navan Enterprise lists everything in Business plus the full Travel and Expense suites, unlimited travelers and expensing users, and global program coverage.2 The additional services include a designated account executive, a dedicated customer-success manager, custom implementation, corporate negotiated rates, back-office capabilities and enterprise-grade travel support.2

Companies with more than 300 employees are directed to request a demo; a numerical Enterprise price is not published in the checked pricing page.2 For the standalone cost question, see Navan pricing.

How does travel differ from broader spend management?

Navan’s published Business package emphasizes travel operations, while Ramp’s Free package also names accounts payable, accounts receivable and vendor management.1,2 Both include travel and expense tools, so the distinction is the surrounding work each published package covers.1,2

Navan Business brings booking changes, travel support agents, rewards and policy workflows into the travel package.2 Ramp Free brings supplier invoices, bill payments and customer-payment workflows into the same plan description as cards and expenses.1 Ramp Plus extends the accounting and approval features, with procurement sold as an add-on.1

For a travel-led evaluation, test booking, changes, traveler support and expense submission. For a finance-led evaluation, add a supplier invoice, approval, payment and accounting export. Keep the required work identical across demonstrations.

Can published prices establish which costs less?

The published rates cannot establish a complete like-for-like cost comparison because Ramp Plus has an undisclosed platform fee and Navan meters monthly expensing users.1,2 The two $15 rates also buy different published feature sets.1,2

Ramp describes the Plus platform fee as based on team size but supplies neither an amount nor a formula in the checked pricing page.1 Its annual-billing message advertises savings without publishing a complete team-specific total.1 Keep the platform fee and required add-ons in the quote request.

Navan uses company headcount to define Business eligibility, then monthly expensing users to describe the expense charge.2 A traveler count alone won’t identify who submits expense transactions in a month.2 Record both populations, and confirm how the allowance applies on the invoice.

The comparison follows our research methodology: separate the published price, its charging unit and the conditions attached to it. Treat neither a free software plan nor a seat rate as a complete transaction-fee schedule.

Which should you shortlist for travel or finance workflows?

Glamdring Research’s view is to shortlist Ramp for the wider finance workflow and Navan for a travel-led requirement, then test the required plan.1,2 This is a judgment about published scope, not a measured verdict on savings or service quality.

Start with Ramp Free if the requirement centers on cards, expenses, payables and the named entry-tier accounting integrations.1 Evaluate Plus when the requirement includes NetSuite, Sage Intacct or the published multi-entity and automation features.1 Obtain Enterprise terms when the required integration or global service sits in that tier.1

Start with Navan Business when the requirement centers on travel booking, changes and support, provided the company meets its headcount limit.2 Price expenses using the monthly expensing-user terms, and obtain an Enterprise quote when the company exceeds the Business limit.2

Before deciding, run the same receipt exception, approval and accounting export in both systems. Record employee steps, finance steps and manual work. Change the shortlist if the required workflow needs a different plan or the written quote changes the economics.

Frequently asked questions

Who counts as a Navan expensing user?

Navan defines an active expense user as anyone who submits a transaction into Navan Expense manually or through Navan Connect.2 Its pricing FAQ attaches the free allowance to the first five monthly expensing users.2 Use that definition when asking which users will be billed.

Does Navan Business have a trip-count limit?

Navan says there is no limit to the number of trips booked with Navan Travel while the company has 300 or fewer employees.2 That allowance concerns booking access; the published free-travel offer does not state that flights or accommodation themselves are free.2

Can you try Ramp Plus before paying?

Ramp’s pricing FAQ offers a free 30-day Plus trial and says users can switch plans as their needs change.1 Confirm the ongoing platform fee and required add-ons before using the trial to approve a recurring budget.
