Leapsome lists the lowest confirmed-USD entry estimate among the checked 15Five alternatives: USD 3 per employee per month for Compensation or Time Tracking plus promotional HRIS Foundation, captured from its pricing calculator on 2 October 2026.1 That price excludes the separate Performance Reviews module; offer applicability requires a current quote.1 Lattice, Betterworks and Culture Amp also compete on performance-management functions, but their price disclosures need different treatment.2,3,4

TL;DR

  • Match the module to the job: Leapsome’s minimum covers compensation or time tracking, while Lattice’s minimum covers engagement surveys.1,2 Neither entry is the vendor’s performance-review package.1,2
  • Lattice’s annual minimum agreement is USD 4,000, even though Engagement lists USD 4 per seat per month.2
  • Betterworks publishes prices with an unidentified dollar currency.3 Culture Amp requests quotes without a numeric entry price.4 Keep those two disclosure types separate.

How this ranking was built

Glamdring Research ranks 15Five alternatives by the lowest published entry subscription price from each checked vendor’s own page, admitting only confirmed USD amounts in a common employee-or-seat monthly unit.1,2 The field is entry subscription price per employee/seat per month. Functional scope remains beside each price because the cheapest modules buy different work.1,2

We checked five suppliers: 15Five as the baseline and four alternatives.5,1,2,3,4 Removing the baseline leaves four alternatives; excluding Betterworks for unconfirmed currency and Culture Amp for quote-only pricing leaves two ranked rows.3,4 Add-ons and free trials do not qualify as entry subscriptions. We merge Leapsome’s captures into one supplier row, using the configured 2 October estimate for the price.1

The other suppliers retain their 28 September 2026 checked dates.2,5,3,4 These are vendor-reported prices and estimates, with tax treatment unconfirmed.1,2 No currency conversion or product-performance testing informs the order. See our research methodology.

Which 15Five competitors list the lowest USD entry price?

Leapsome comes first at USD 3 per employee per month during its Foundation offer; Lattice follows at USD 4 per seat per month for Engagement.1,2 The ranking compares published subscription units, with non-equivalent scope stated alongside them.1,2

What does Leapsome’s lowest price include?

Leapsome’s USD 3 entry combines Compensation with Agentic HRIS Foundation during the promotion.1 Compensation lists compensation reviews, budget management, promotion reviews, pay-gap analytics, flexible approvers and salary and bonus bands.1 Foundation supplies employee records and core HR functions; performance reviews require their own module.1

Foundation includes employee profiles, absence management, document management, payroll preparation, meetings, instant feedback, core analytics and workflows.1 Leapsome describes limits on custom attributes, e-signatures, workflows, analytics, AI and integrations at this level.1

Time Tracking is the other minimum-priced choice.1 It lists a time-tracking widget, work schedules, timesheets, automatic issue detection, customizable policies and hours flowing into payroll.1 Choose between those minimum modules only if one matches the work you need.

The USD-selected calculator was captured at its default employee setting of 200, selecting one module at a time.1 It shows these individual module estimates, each with Foundation at USD 0 during the offer:1

  • Compensation or Time Tracking: USD 3/employee/month.1
  • Goals & OKRs, Engagement Surveys or Learning: USD 4/employee/month each.1
  • Recruiting: USD 5/employee/month.1
  • Performance Reviews: USD 7/employee/month.1

Leapsome labels the calculator: “Estimate only. Multi-module and volume discounts are not reflected here.”1 Its offer says “purchase by Dec 31”; the platform remains part of every module plan and becomes chargeable at its listed price after the offer deadline.1 Confirm eligibility, contract terms and the Foundation charge in a current quote.

The 28 September capture was different: its pricing display had no features selected and did not establish a configured USD module rate.1 The 2 October figures support the ranking without implying a like-for-like price change between those dates.1

What does Lattice’s entry plan include?

Lattice Engagement lists pulse, onboarding and exit surveys, action planning, eNPS, and AI analysis and trends at USD 4 per seat per month.2 It also includes 1:1s, Weekly Updates, Feedback and Q&A Boards.2 Lattice identifies analytics, its AI Agent and integrations as common to base products.2

Lattice states USD 4,000 minimum annual spend and annual billing across contracts.2 Request the total contract amount for your seat count before treating the per-seat figure as your budget.

For reviews, Lattice’s Performance card lists USD 10 per seat per month with performance reviews, succession planning, promotions, PIPs, talent reviews and calibration.2 Its FAQ also says Performance or Goals & OKRs can be bought individually for $8/month, which conflicts with the Performance card.2 Resolve that discrepancy in a quote; it does not change the lower Engagement entry figure.2 Our Lattice pricing guide is the related reading for that procurement question.

Which alternatives sit outside the USD ranking?

Betterworks sits outside the numeric order because its printed prices do not identify currency; Culture Amp is quote-only, while 15Five remains the unranked baseline.3,4,5

Betterworks’ published plans belong in a separate currency-unconfirmed table:3

Unranked Betterworks planPrinted price and unitPublished inclusionsCurrency and tax statusChecked date

Betterworks also lists a custom Enterprise plan.3 Its FAQ says implementation is a one-time cost in addition to per-user monthly pricing.3 A current quote should identify currency, billing commitment and that separate charge.

Culture Amp’s 28 September 2026 pricing page requests quotes for Engage and Perform.4 Perform lists reviews and calibration, continuous feedback, 1-on-1 conversations, development plans and goal management; Engage lists surveys, action plans and benchmarking.4 Culture Amp says prices depend on employee count, product and service tier, with annual billing.4 The absence of a published numeric entry gives it no price position against Leapsome or Lattice.4

15Five’s original printed prices remain a baseline, with no inferred USD label:5

Which entry plan fits the work you need to replace?

Use the functions you need from 15Five to define the comparison: engagement surveys and performance reviews have separate prices in both Leapsome and Lattice.5,1,2 A Compensation or Time Tracking subscription cannot stand in for a complete review package in a cost comparison.1

For an engagement-only shortlist, compare Lattice Engagement with Leapsome Engagement Surveys and request a Culture Amp Engage quote.2,1,4 For a review-led shortlist, compare Leapsome Performance Reviews with Lattice Performance, Betterworks Performance and a Culture Amp Perform quote.1,2,3,4 Confirm Betterworks’ currency and Lattice’s conflicting Performance figures before ordering those review options by cost.3,2

Give each supplier the same required functions and employee count. Ask for recurring subscription costs, billing term, minimum spend, tax and implementation separately. For Leapsome, add promotion eligibility and the Foundation charge after December 31.1

What the ranking cannot tell you

The Leapsome and Lattice entry figures do not establish the lowest total cost for an equivalent performance-management package.1,2 Leapsome’s lead depends on a promotional Foundation estimate; Lattice’s seat rate sits alongside an annual minimum.1,2 Different functional requirements can therefore change the cost comparison.1,2

The order covers the checked supplier set, not every product in the market. No negotiated quotes, tax-adjusted totals or hands-on quality results underpin it. Betterworks’ currency remains unconfirmed and Culture Amp’s amount remains unpublished.3,4 Recheck the vendor pages when prices or offer terms change.

Frequently asked questions

Is 15Five an HRIS system?

The checked 15Five pricing page describes engagement and performance plans and lists integrations with HRIS systems.5 That evidence supports treating 15Five as a performance-and-engagement purchase; it does not establish a complete HRIS replacement.5 If core employee records are part of your requirement, Leapsome explicitly describes Agentic HRIS Foundation as its HR system of record.1

Can you try an alternative before committing?

Leapsome’s 2 October pricing page lists a 14-day free trial.1 Its FAQ says free sandbox access can follow a consultation with the team.1 Confirm the access conditions and whether the trial includes the modules you need; those statements do not establish an unconditional trial across every alternative.
