The price cards use $ without naming a currency or tax treatment.1 They give a per-user monthly unit but do not state whether invoices are monthly or annual.1 Confirm those terms before comparing a quote with another supplier’s price.

What does the Performance plan include?

Betterworks’ Performance plan includes performance management, Goals & OKRs, Feedback, Conversations, 1:1 Meetings, AI assistance and SSO access.1

  • Performance uses evidence from employees’ work.1
  • Goals & OKRs align team and individual goals with company priorities and track progress.1
  • Feedback supports real-time feedback for employees.1
  • Conversations supports review cycles and performance decisions.1
  • 1:1 Meetings includes automated summaries, notes and follow-ups.1
  • AI assistance provides writing help, described as avoiding a blank text box.1
  • SSO access supports user authentication.1

Performance also lists ongoing support, live and on-demand training, and a designated success partner.1

Across all plans, Betterworks lists access to HR transformation and organisational development experts, performance signals captured where work happens, insights, AI, a connected system and integrations.1 Confirm the particular integrations and service scope you need in the quote.

What does Performance + Talent Intelligence add?

Betterworks’ Performance + Talent Intelligence includes everything in Performance and adds calibration, succession and talent mobility, skills intelligence, talent profiles, development plans and AI inference.1

  • Anytime Calibration, described as supporting consistency and fairness in people decisions.1
  • Succession & Talent Mobility, for building talent pools for critical roles.1
  • Skills Intelligence, for visibility into workforce skills, gaps and development areas.1
  • Unified Talent Profile, bringing an employee’s skills, growth and performance together.1
  • Individual Development Plan, with AI recommendations based on role, selected skill and proficiency.1
  • AI inference, using signals from work to add context and visibility.1

Support extends the Performance package to cover Talent Intelligence.1 The published package distinction is talent assessment and development on top of the core performance cycle.1 Ask for a demonstration of the calibration, succession or skills workflow that prompted you to consider the higher plan.

What does the Enterprise plan include?

Betterworks’ Enterprise plan includes everything in Performance + Talent Intelligence, then adds program design, Engage, In-app Guides, change management services and Signature Support.1

Betterworks describes Enterprise as designed for global organisations with complex structures and transformational programs.1

  • Transformational program design with the vendor’s HR Transformation and OrgPsy Experts.1
  • Engage, described as measuring organisational culture to inform action.1
  • In-app Guides, covering program requirements, usage analytics and in-app feedback.1
  • Change management services to support the organisation and its workforce.1
  • Signature Support, including a dedicated team and experts, prioritised support and participation in innovation programs.1

The support list also names a dedicated implementation team.1 Enterprise’s published price is “Custom”, tailored to the organisation; no numerical rate accompanies those services.1

What costs sit outside the published user rates?

Betterworks states that implementation is a one-time cost in addition to per-user monthly pricing.1

The implementation fee is not quantified in the pricing FAQ.1 A dedicated implementation team appears on the Enterprise card, but the separate-cost statement still needs resolving in your proposal.1 Request the subscription and implementation amounts as separate line items.

Support needs the same care. Enterprise lists Signature Support as included, while the general support FAQ describes Signature Support as an additional-cost option.1 Confirm whether it is included in your selected package or separately charged, and which services the agreement covers.

Betterworks says pricing depends on workforce size, selected packages and products, implementation requirements, integrations and desired support levels.1 It also names active user population, organisational complexity and deployment requirements as pricing factors.1

Prepare your active-user count, current performance and talent programs, technology stack, desired changes, budget and timeline for the quote discussion.1 Ask Betterworks to define the billable user population and confirm the currency, tax treatment and billing schedule.

Frequently asked questions

Can you buy Betterworks Engagement separately?

Yes. Betterworks says organisations can start with Engagement as a standalone product or begin with the Performance package and expand over time.1 Its pricing FAQ does not give a numerical standalone Engagement price.1 Ask for that product’s quote separately from the Enterprise package, which lists Engage among its inclusions.1

Is AI included in Betterworks pricing?

Yes. Betterworks says AI is embedded throughout its system and modules.1 Its FAQ also says some AI functionality can be switched off to accommodate organisational policies.1 Confirm which functions that applies to if your organisation restricts AI use.

Does Betterworks publish a minimum employee count?

The checked pricing FAQ says Betterworks adds the most value for organisations with over 500 employees; it does not specify a mandatory minimum employee count.1 Treat that wording as the vendor’s target-company guidance and confirm eligibility for your intended deployment.
